Winter Intention:
A Collective Ceremony

Wednesday, December 22
(6:00 - 8:00 PM)
Offered in community via Zoom with Misako and Irene

Honor who you are becoming by taking this evening to pause, set intentions, and mark the transition into winter.
We offer this space to nurture your inherent belonging and wholeness.

Your joys and sorrows and you, exactly as you are are, are all welcome.

This 2 hour evening is an invitation to slow down and reconnect with your innate wisdom so that you feel the possibility and openness of winter. You will lean into your own dignity and witness others in theirs.

During our evening together, there will be Qigong inspired grounding and movement, a guided meditation, time for reflection, and time to explore the intentions we want to align with this winter. We will offer a group ceremony and you will be invited to take your intentions into your own ceremony in the days following our gathering.
We will explore presence, along with trust and kindness for self, as the foundation of “wintering”.

Remember… you can take refuge, cultivate joy, be curious, and find strength and solace in this darker time.
Consider… winter as a time of incubation / the opportunity to go inward / the cyclical nature of life.

No experience necessary; just an open heart and willingness to connect.

Before our gathering, please take a few moments to consider the following:

~ Is there a way you typically relate to winter or feelings that you associate with it?
~ What would a nourishing and loving winter feel like in your heart and body?

We need ceremony to intentionally honor and dance with the beauty, suffering, and mystery of life.
We need community for this process.

“ … Call upon the help of those who love you. These helpers take many forms: animal, element, bird, angel, saint, stone, or ancestor … ”
