nourishing Wholeness:
4 Days of Earth Connection, Mindfulness, & Movement

July 8 - 11, 2021

Tenmile Creek - Yachats, Oregon

* See below for COVID precautions.

Grounded in the belief that all beings need Temenos, or sacred space, to thrive personally
and contribute collectively, this retreat offers the opportunity
to slow down, recharge, and reconnect amidst challenging times.

Tenmile Creek flows gently through the property.

Tenmile Creek flows gently through the property.

Join us for a nourishing and heart opening retreat on an 85-acre property that provides a safe haven for us to come together in community, heal in the loving embrace of the natural world, and nurture our individual and collective well being. This retreat weaves together mindfulness, Earth-based movement, Qigong, meaningful conversation, and nature connection in the company of the Earth and others that identify with their feminine. We will lean into the innate wisdom of our bodies and the natural world to go home feeling inspired and resilient amidst these wild and uncertain times.

Our time together will offer guided inner explorations, facilitated through a balance of both personal practice and group activities. You will be guided on a Forest Bathing Walk amidst lush forest, meandering creek, and birdsong. You will practice earth centered Qigong, Primal Vinyasa™, and Meditation. You can wash your face in the creek when you wake, walk barefoot on the land, and sleep under the stars. This sacred land offers itself for deep healing and alignment with your highest self. Our intention is for you to leave feeling grounded, nourished, and re-connected.

You will have free time to roam the property and explore, take cold water plunges to tone your vagus nerve in a pristine swimming hole (or just dip your toes), and bask in the stillness and abundance of this sacred space. The meadows, creek, forest, orchard, and gardens provide space to re-balance your inner landscape and reconnect to the beauty, joy, and abundance that is always available.

This retreat will take place 15 minutes from Yachats, Oregon on Tenmile Creek. It is located 3 miles inland from the ocean, down a gravel road, on a spectacular, forested 85 acres site. Delicious, organic, and local food is provided and prepared with love by our talented chef.

This retreat will empower participants to:

  • Gather wisdom in the forest and different elements of the natural world to remember your wholeness.

  • Feel an inherent sense of connection and belonging to self, the land, and all life.

  • Explore and honor your emotional responses to the challenges and celebrations of your daily life.

  • Practice gratitude & reciprocity as a revolutionary act and source of strength.

  • Lean into the possibility of radical self love and participate in the cultivation of resilience in community.

  • Acknowledge the need for restorative time (amidst racial injustice, climate crisis, and the acute suffering of living in a pandemic) to show up with strength and stability for yourself and the collective well being.

  • Leave feeling that you are enough, just as you are.

Come immerse yourself in the symphony of life!

No experience necessary; just an open heart and willingness to connect with the sacred relationships of our deepest selves, other womxn, and Mother Earth.

This gathering is open to 14 participants and we will be the only group on site.

There will be no cell service. We will have access to a landline for emergency or if you need to checkin with family.

Inclusivity:

We ask that our participants be committed to the ongoing learning and awareness of how white supremacy negatively impacts all life, especially black and brown people. In an effort to support an inclusive space, we know this work, this dismantling of systemic oppression, is essential to sharing healing spaces and to supporting the collective liberation for all beings.

Sleeping In The Forest

I thought the earth remembered me, she
took me back so tenderly, arranging
her dark skirts, her pockets
full of lichens and seeds. I slept
as never before, a stone
on the riverbed, nothing
between me and the white fire of the stars
but my thoughts, and they floated
light as moths among the branches
of the perfect trees. All night
I heard the small kingdoms breathing
around me, the insects, and the birds
who do their work in the darkness. All night
I rose and fell, as if in water, grappling
with a luminous doom. By morning
I had vanished at least a dozen times
into something better.

COVID-19 Precautions:

We will be the only group on site. We will follow strict hygiene protocols and practice physical distancing during our time together. The large size of the property offers ample space for safely camping, exploring, and building community.

In preparations for the retreat and during our time together, we will do everything we can to protect you, the facilitators, and the community. Prior to the retreat, we will be sharing our COVID-19 Protocols that all participants must agree to follow. Reach out if you would like to see our COVID-19 Protocols prior to registration.

We could have rain on the retreat. We may not be able to safely physical distance and provide rain shelter for everyone so you may need to rely on your tent.

If we are unable to host this retreat due to Covid-19, you will receive a full refund.
